Buddy & Baby, part 2
My appointment finished early (though not earlier than I had hoped) so I went to visit Buddy and Baby.
Buddy wasn't there but Gigi was. We talked for a while, mainly small talk. I asked her what the doctors said. She thought about it for a second and explained it quietly to me. She seemed hopeful but sad. She explained how Baby is still weak but moving and very cognizant of people. Gigi looked desolate. I didn't press the question.
